- : If all I heard about the the March-Amiga or A1200+ or however you
- : call it is true (68040, new Custom-Chips, Fast-Ram), AT should
- : consider to release a new A4000T as well. Just imagine how it

- : A4000T with lower specs then the A1200+. Anybody thought about
- : that?
-
- It stands to reason that any 'basic' modifications in chipset or other
- components will also come with future A4000T's. They are not going to
- leave it in the dust. Worst case scenario would be an a1200+ that is equal
- in power to an A4000T minus expandability (unless they put it in a super-
- mini tower as some have suggested). How about PCMCIA III on the A1200+
- for 32-bit interaction. The 16-bit is a bit lame. This modification I
- don't believe will happen in this next version as there are some conflicts
- I understand would be interesting to deal with, but who knows. (If the
- answer is YOU... then share what you know!) ;>
-
- The above list didn't note the ability to handle High Density floppy drives
- in true double-speed mode. While Fast-RAM sockets are promised on the A1200+,
- I haven't heard anything yet about actual Fast-RAM being included on the
- system at purchase. 2MB of Fast-RAM would seem quite acceptable. A 4MB Amiga
- out of the box. Also, I am hoping for 16-bit audio and a faster AGA chipset.
